Example (1):
To
determine the settings you want to use in picking a stock, simple observe the
technical indicators on one of the graphs. One type setting you may wish to
include in Stock Selector Settings can be determined from the following graph.
Observe the circled area on the following Daily Graph of NVDA:
You can see the results of the default settings for Stock Selector on the X-axis showing a
the Green Buy
signal for Condition 10 and the Red Sell signal for Condition 9. Some points of interest are:
Please note the close price is below the LR price. This is the center average
line running through the middle of the graph. It is nothing more than a linear
regression of the data shown. Also note the relationship between the close price, MLR 60, and the MLR 90.
Where one of these values is greater or less than the other values.
The graph just below the top graph, the MLR Der 30 is negative and
it is also increasing. Also, the MLR Der 60 and the MLR Dif 30 are providing
some good indications in conjunction with these indicators.
Look at the graphs of each type of stock you want to buy or sell, and based on visual
historical analysis of indicators, you can pick out
the indicator that match the types of stocks you wish to buy or sell. In
addition, you can add
fundamental criteria such as P/E or rate of appreciation to help narrow the picks.
More guidance to come.
